In the face of genocide, is it possible to move beyond hate, revenge, and/or dissociation? Is authentic forgiveness even a possibility? Based on in-depth interviews of survivors of the Bosnian genocide, Demaris Wehr, PhD, discovered that finding meaning was essential to survivors in working through their traumas. Her talk will be illustrated with photos and images.
