Metaphors tap into a deep place where change happens: when we change our internal metaphors, we change our life. The power of metaphoric images is that they bypass the linear mind, fundamentally shifting our perceptions and outlook. Once we’ve “stepped into” whatever metaphoric image is presenting itself, we often find that whatever was bothering us is gone. We are in a different space.
This five-week course will be mostly experiential, but will also provide a theoretical foundation on the psychology of metaphor and metaphoric wisdom for those who are interested. If you are an artist or do any form of creative work and want insight and deepening into your creative abilities, this course will provide an inspiring foundation for expanding your skills and creative avenues. And for those of you who work with clients or students, you will receive practical tips and suggestions for using metaphor as a tool for self-discovery, creativity and personal growth. CEUs are available for MFTs and LCSWs.
$175 until August 29th, $225 after that.

I don't see a way to revise this... I've begun a 6-week "Doorways" group that's been amazing. If you think you might be interested in that, please email me. I'll be doing this particular event that's posted here (with CEUs) later in the year.
