What We’ll Do in the Workshop and Take Away
The group is a combination of short teachings with experiential exercises in practicing self-compassion from the inside. Some exercises are done individually, some with another person, and some will happen in the larger group. You always have the option to do the exercises - or not. Learning to be self-compassionate happens in each moment. You are supported each step of the way.

Deirdre Fay, LICSW is in private practice in Arlington, MA. She is a teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion founded by Kristin Neff, PhD. For the past thirty plus years Deirdre has integrated meditation and yoga with trauma and attachment theory. She founded “Becoming Safely Embodied Skills” (workbook available) now taught around the world. Her upcoming book “Organizing the Disorganized Body Mind: Using yoga, self-compassion and parts work to safely heal trauma” will be released in 2016 by Norton Publishing.
