Mindful Self-Compassion: Moment by Moment

a workshop facilitated by Deirdre Fay, LICSW

What We’ll Learn

The emotional skill of self-compassion and how to apply it when we need it most.

How to enhance mindfulness with self-compassion.

Self-compassion practices for daily life.

How to motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism.

That warming up with self-compassion counteracts shame and fear better than anything.

How to handle difficult emotions with greater ease.

How to transform challenging relationships.

How to enjoy our lives more fully.

What We’ll Do in the Workshop and Take Away

The group is a combination of short teachings with experiential exercises in practicing self-compassion from the inside.  Some exercises are done individually, some with another person, and some will happen in the larger group.  You always have the option to do the exercises - or not.  Learning to be self-compassionate happens in each moment.  You are supported each step of the way.
