In this course we’ll view and discuss six outstanding films through a mythic lens. We’ll explore how different cinematic styles and genres convey universal quests for meaning, belonging, and transformation. Along the way, we’ll examine production design, cinematography, sound, and story, unpacking how great filmmakers bring the realm of myth and folklore vividly to life.
