Technology floods every aspect of contemporary life, offering both promises and perils for the future. AI is developing faster than the ethical and social structures that could monitor its trajectory or prepare the population for massive changes.
This interactive Q & A-style symposium is part 3 (of a 3-part series) on the human-technology relationship and includes a special limited release film showing of "Marjorie Prime," (not livecast) followed by a panelist discussion and free-flowing Q & A. The in-person event starts at 6:30 MST.
Live feed of discussion between panelists and the public will be broadcast from 8:15 to 10:00 PM through a link below.
We invite in particular informed depth psychological inquiries into what is at risk as we become an increasingly digitized species in a rapid-paced evolutionary path toward the unknown.
The symposium will be live-cast through a Facebook link and questions from abroad will be addressed.
Panelists include:
Edward Gray, MS, LCPC (Depth Psychotherapist)
Alden H. Wright, Ph.D. (Research & Emeritus Professor, Artificial Intelligence and Technology & Ethics, University of Montana).
Eric Hall, Ph.D. (Assistant Professor of Theology & Philosophy, Carroll College)
