The Assisi Institute and Depth Psych Alliance Present a second session: Beyond the Hope and the Horror: (Part II): A Look at the Archetypal Intersection of Evil and Innocence
"For the dead and the living, we must bear witness." Elie Wiesel
Our December 20th teleseminar drew an unprecedented response with over 460 people from several different countries registering to be a part of this sensitive and significant conversation regarding The horrific tragedy in Newtown, CT and it's implications for us both individually and culturally.
The trauma and terror of senseless acts of violence perpetrated on the most helpless and innocent among us, is not a topic that can be adequately covered in a single hour.
While our conversation brought us to the depths of the nigredo and in many ways was a collective moment of bearing witness with not only the victims in Newtown, CT but with the victims throughout history whose lives, cut short by senseless violence, beckon us to continue this exploration of evil and innocence, horror and hope.
In recognition of the enormity of this topic and of the tremendous response from our community around the world, we are offering a second complimentary teleseminar focused on this same theme. We invite you to join us, as together we bear witness to this tragedy and continue to search for a way through the darkness to a place of understanding.
Please register to attend. This session will also be recorded for later listening.

Hi Deb and all: There is a thread about the shootings here on the Alliance in case you'd like to read and/or comment. It was started before the first teleseminar but everyone is welcome to comment on anything that seems relevant, including last week's teleseminar or the one happening tomorrow: http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/forum/topics/acknowledging-t...
Is there a post teleseminar discussion on line somewhere???
Good morning Bonnie - reading Joseph Camosey's post-teleseminar contibutions, much reflection and contemplation (thought reformations) required - lots of soul food (words/ideas) delivered, much gratitude to the Bright/Conforti leadership and the Assisi/DPA collaborating collective field - open systems/wave phenomena choice point opportunity. Warm regards Linda
Thanks so much everyone, for your attention, time, and support. I can't articulate enough how important it is that we not only acknowledge this tragedy but take the time an effort to dig into the invisible underpinnings. How else can change take place but by the "motion" of "emotion." Wishing you all all joy and love for the holiday season...and hope to connect next Thursday and beyond....
Last night's teleseminar was excellent ---- looking forward to next week's!
I'm not sure if I can be there but I will listen later. Thank you.
