A residential retreat immersion into Holotropic Breathwork and Journeywork

This land-based retreat, held in the beautiful rolling hills of Marin County, offers a safe and supportive setting for reconnecting with the intrinsic intelligence of Nature, Psyche and Soul. Incorporating the powerful practices of Grof Holotropic Breathwork and the time-honored shamanic journey, we will explore both our rich inner landscape as well as our connection to the environment that surrounds us. We will allow both this deep listening to the wisdom of the body / psyche and an enlivened connection with natural world to inform our lives. Deep personal experiences will be supported and enriched through the use of guided time in nature, mindfulness practice, council and self-expression through art, writing, and sacred ritual. As we begin to REMEMBER who we really are, we align ourselves with what has heart and meaning.
This retreat will be of value to persons interested in personal renewal, enhanced wellness and creativity and heightened spiritual awareness. It offers an excellent adjunct to therapy, as well as a powerful method of self-care for helping professionals. No previous experience is required.
Theoretical material related to the psychotherapeutic application of both the 'transpersonal’ perspective and shamanic world view will be included in breakout sessions for those attending for continuing education credit. (optional for those who are not getting CEUs).
