An Urban Pilgrimage at Grace CathedralWith the Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress and Kayleen AsboFriday & Saturday August 26-27, 2011Each of us develops a way of meeting the world that relies on our strongest psychological function whether it be Thinking, Feeling, Sensing or Intuition. With one being dominant, two others develop to support aspects of our ego that help us navigate our way in the world. However, it is the fourth function that remains weak and undeveloped. Depth psychology teaches us that this “inferior” fourth function, when activated in midlife, can become the portal to the numinous, the doorway that connects us to ecstatic transformation and our higher self, and the pathway to wholeness.Join Lauren Artress and Kayleen Asbo for this urban pilgrimage where we will explore the theme of personal transformation through the “path not taken”. We’ll identify our own strengths and weaknesses and then explore the Jungian functions through music, art, journalling, movement and stories of spiritual integration through Hildegard of Bingen, St. Francis of Assisi, Teresa of Avila and Brother Roger of Taize- all with the labyrinth to center and ground our discovery of the left handed path of transformation. For more information, or to register, go to:https://www.veriditas.org/programs/gracecall: 707-283-0373 or email: contact@veriditas.org
