What natural intelligence lives in ecological and embodied dreaming experiences and is available for the transformation of our everyday lives, nature and culture? A dreamer articulates her relationship with unexpected change, when the world as she knows it falls apart, and she is transformed through both crisis and lysis. At the heart of her initiatory tale resides a series of sleeping and waking life dreams named “Winds of Change” which the dreamer is actively tending with curiosity. This dialogical relationship with imaginal and material world realities, established five years ago, continues to offer wisdom about the commitment to presence and the crucial role of the body in addressing and embracing unexpected change. This is an unfolding story of transition – mediating the tension of opposing feeling states, yearning to be oriented toward a vision of well-being, and connecting with the enlivening wellsprings of creative imagination.Invited Presentation forThe Aesthetic Nature of Change ConferenceInstitute for Cultural Change3rd Annual International ConferenceMay 21-23, 2010
