Here's more about Roger, who will be making an introductory post and telling you more as the course begins...

Roger Knudson, PhD is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Miami University. He was Director of Training in Miami's PhD program in clinical psychology from 1993 - 2006 and taught courses on dreams at both the undergraduate and graduate level for over 30 years. His research focused on epiphanies – moments of sudden insight – and other major turning point experiences in people’s lives. One set of this work was the on-going significance of significant dreams in shaping self-narratives. A related line of inquiry focused on how individuals mourn the death of significant others, with emphasis on the role played by imagination and dreams. Roger was a recipient of the Distinguished Educator Award from the College of Arts and Science. Roger maintained a limited private practice in clinical psychology throughout his career. He retired in 2010.

Roger served two terms on the Board of Directors for the International Association for the Study of Dreams. He completed a three-course, clinical training program in Dream Tending with Stephen Aizenstat at Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2000; and in May 2013 he received a certificate as an Embodiment Practitioner from Robbie Bosnak and Jill Fischer at the completion of their 3-year seminar in Embodied Imagination.

Roger resides in Dallas, TX with his partner Joan Chamberlain.
