One-Page Event/Program Proposal
I will attend the Education Committee meeting tomorrow, James. In preparation for the discussion about the one-page event proposal, I adapted the form Bonnie created by including some of the information that Craig forwarded to me on the learning objectives required for CE's. This is the first of 2 or 3 ideas I had out of the Town Hall last night. I have mentioned before that I believe we would benefit be convening a small group of 4-6 members who have strong IT backgrounds (one or two in web design, one or two Jeremys, etc.). I have been spearheading much (not all) of the recruiting of volunteers. Recruiting has long been a specialty of mine in HR, and my way is profoundly different than almost any corporation that I know of--I use high-touch techniques, such as calling candidates and circling back with updates and, finally, telephoning them when they are not selected. Mind you, this is with the 4 or 5 candidates that actually get an interview, not all 100 people that apply. However, I do get back electronically to…
