Committees Charter Review

Percolating thoughts

Committees are strategic, not staff. They are not necessarily meant to do produce events, education, or campaigns all by themselves Rather, they:

-generate or consider ideas
-create or apply turn key processes
-evaluate for viability and value to the org
-find or assign resources to execute

To that end, maybe we can use easy claims for committees to qualify their process. That is, their role is to 

-Vision (new or existing ideas about what is needed or wanted for the org within their category/charer)

-Validate (Determine if and why an idea is valid because it delivers value based on our criteria and is financially viable)

-Vivify (Find or implement resources to bring the initiative to life and execute)


Criteria is that any initiative must allow us to offer one or more of the following to members:
DIALOGUE--Build and foster community
EXPLORE--Offer quality depth education and instruction
EXPERIENCE--provide experiential opps that utilize depth methods--ritual, dream, symbol, story
POLLINATE--offer tools or resources that help members extend depth psychology in the world
