Hello Coursemates

My name is Leslie and I live in upstate NY. I work as a stream program coordinator, but have been studying ecopsychology for years as part of my personal quest. I'm particularly interested in Craig's terrapsychology and the idea of re-engaging the soul of place. The night after I viewed the first webinar in this course I dreamt that my office wall had flooded and the bamboo supports were rotted and needed to be replaced. I noticed the "window" of my office was actually a screen of woven vines and behind the screen, the broken glass had fallen away. When I arrived at work in waking life, the office roof had leaked and several walls had flooded. I had dreamt what had or was happening as I dreamt. I've had premonitory dreams, but this time the fusion of the inner/outer happenings really shook my world view (what I want). Musing about the dream, I've decided I don't want to replace the glass window/wall between myself and the natural place outside.

  • Hi Leslie. Thanks so much for sharing your dream. It gave me chills. The synchronicity is undeniable, and I really appreciate how you've come to some understanding about the window. Very powerful! I look forward to hearing more about how this unfolds as we go.
