Week 4- Eradigms and Transrevolution

I tried posting this yesterday but don't see the message.   I  enjoyed both the reading and articles for week 4 very much.  I loved the lens that rising and falling eradigms are the the tectonic plates of collective consciousness.  The simultaneous unraveling of one era and the other begins to emerge reminds me of a quote I once heard about the challenge of the time we are in requires us to be both hospice workers and midwives simultaneously.   I have found an important piece of working with the people at the end of life is to help them make meaning of their lives and to honor that which was manifested through it.  Perhaps part of the hospice work of this Era is to find balance between the grief and gratitude for what we have manifested and are now required to leave behind.  I attended a weekend workshop several years ago with James O’Dea, the former president of The Institute of Noetic Sciences.  He facilitated an exercise were we performed a ritual to honor and give thanks to all that the Patriarchy moved forward in consciousness.   It remains one of the more powerful and moving experiences I have participated in on a group level.

I did have one question about Transrevolution- What are “Mandalic strange attractors” in the emerging order phase of transrevolution?

  • Hi Cindy,

Images of wholeness that arise from rupture. Earthrise is a good example (we'll discuss it next webinar). Another is the image of the Net that shows up in smart networks and other kinds of interconnection these days. It could also be a new idea for an organization, a new vision of how to do community, etc.
