No. I'm currently a Unitarian Universalist minister, with a background in chemical dependency treatment.
Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I was a chemical dependency counselor for 20 years, encountering Jung in my training, I then engaged in analysis.
I am now a Unitarian Universalist minister utilizing depth psychology in spiritual direction with my parishioners, as well as in preaching and teaching.
I went to Pacifica for an intensive in depth psychology as spiritual practice with Lionel Corbett. Our cohort continues to meet.
I expect to deepen In my understandinge of depth psychology, enhance spiritual direction practice, and keep up with innovations in the field.

Hi Beth. Greetings, and welcome to the online depth psychology community. It's great to have you here. I'm certain you'll find some items of interest here, given your background.
Meanwhile, as you may know, we currently have nearly 1500 members here from all over the world. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.
It sounds like you already know about the online book club: July has brought us “Marked by Fire: Stories of the Jungian Way” from Editors/Jungian Analysts Patricia Damery and Naomi Ruth Lowinsky and in August, we'll see Deep Blues: Human Soundscapes for the Archetypal Journey about Blue...--which may have some items of interest for you. Since the Book Club is all done via writing in an open forum, you can participate at your own level and schedule.
