Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?

I am interested in becoming a psychotherapist or counsellor of some kind, and I would like to learn from and communicate with others about the ways of the human psyche. I have read dozens of books on psychology and spirituality, as well as dozens more on science, politics, economics, education, media, health, history, ecology and evolution. I am most interested in the new, evolutionary cosmology, ecopsychology, and depth psychology for how they can help awaken us to more of who we are and what we are here to do at this perilous yet promising moment, when we in the modern industrial-commercial-techno-consumer world are so deeply involved in such globally and locally destructive activities, systems and processes that the very survival and well-being of our planetary biosphere and its vast diversity of lifeforms and human cultures are in danger of becoming extinguished forever. I believe that an eco-evolutionary depth psychological and cosmological perspective would provide the most enlightened, liberating and empowering basis for personal, social and cultural health, sanity and positive change.
