"Hi Mary,
Thanks for your message. Yes - I'm currently in dissertation mode at Pacifica. I'm familiar with Meridian as well. In fact I lived in San Rafael, CA for 11 years until last July when I moved to western Mass. I'm new to this site but already…"

You're so kind to read my blog post. I thank(ed) Bonnie too for posting it to the Twilight Zone group. This is a great site - and a great resource - and a great community. I'm still new and slowly taking it all in. I just started using…"

  • Thanks for your note Dan - I live up in Los Osos which is about 2 hours from Pacifica and really enjoy getting to know others at Pacifica as well as attending workshops there.  What took you to MA?  Groovy on also having a massage background too!  Shamanism doesn't separate psyche and body which is essential in my opinion....  Mary
  • Thanks, Dan, for your enthusiasm. I'm so glad you're here. I truly find the community to be a very special place and it requires all of us to continue creating the container. See you around the site...
  • Welcome Dan!  I was not privy to the info Dorene referred to but would love to know what the link is.  Where are you doing your PhD?  Or is it in process at Pacifica?  I did my PhD at Meridian Univ up in Petaluma.  You'll find that I am a part of the Shamanism group too and look forward to learning where our interests might intersect.  Welcome!  Mary
  • Dan, Bonnie linked those of us in The Twilight Zone to your dissertation site with the link to your article on dreams as private mythology. Wow! I love what you're doing. I know that you're trying to get things going on Mythic Dreams, but I'd love it if you would weigh in on things in this group, too. Feel free to float topics of interest around your dissertation and always draw us over to your site. Keep up the good work!
  • Welcome Dan,

Bonnie has already connected with you and your dreamwork with the Alliance. Glad you have joined us "in the flesh." I look forward to following your blog and whatever you share with the Alliance within its forums, groups, and blogs.

  • Hi Dan! Welcome to the Alliance. I was just digging into your site which is wonderful, by the way. You probably found us because I just tweeted one of your articles/blogposts which is really interesting and well-written--and I just shared it in the Dream Group here in the community as well. I had no idea you were a Pacifica grad though. I am just finishing my coursework for PhD in the Depth Psych program and there are many people from Pacifica in this community. I'm really thrilled your here and hope you will share some of your work yourself through blogposts, comments, or ideas you introduce for discussion in the Forum or some of the groups. Welcome!
