  • Hi Elise. Happy new year, and welcome to the online depth community. My apologies for the lateness of this greeting but It's wonderful to "see" you here. Hopefully you have had a chance to explore the site and have found the Alliance to be made up of a dynamic group of likeminded people who can learn from each other in a multitude of ways--something many of us are searching for to be sure. As you probably know, there are lots of Pacifica students, faculty, and alumni here who seem to gravitate to the site--probably in part due to what Ed said about the desire to help move depth psych out into the world.

On that note, I hope you're finding opportunities to engage as you browse the vast content and interact with others. You may want to consider joining the new online book club if you haven’t already—it’s just begun (with a new author each month!)—and you can participate at whatever level you wish. Meanwhile, in case you need detailed help on getting started and navigating the site, please use the following link-- http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site --and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community~Bonnie Bright, Founder

  • Welcome Elise,

There is a strong element within the Alliance who desire to bring depth psychology out of the analyst's office and into the streets and chambers of those making the decisions that influence our collective futures. I believe you might help strengthen both the awareness and direction of many of our members in those directions. Glad you have joined us. I look forward to your posts.
