Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
My primary interest is to connect with others who have explored the deeper reaches of their own psyche and discovered things worth sharing. I was given the 'gift' of free (as in unguided)active imagination for two years by a friend, who asked me to write about it. I did. Added to a lifetime of seeking to know more this experience opened up connections to a larger reality that I did not expect and am now grateful for. I am eager to know whether I am right thinking I have created a work that will be an informative entertainment, perhaps of some value, to those who are interested in the full psyche. I would like to share the name of the book and say that one can read for free the first two chapters at Amazon (Look Inside). For the record, the book title and pen name are: "The Book: A Novel Calling," by Leo Nation. I would be thrilled to converse with anyone who is willing to discuss the book and its contents, and whether it has value to someone who knows more than the superficial aspect of the mind. I'd like to connect with those who 'know,' so to speak. I see the story I wrote as a metaphor for discoveries made on the so-called 'Hero's Journey.'

I have been doing depth psychology for many decades, in many ways, some self created, and I believe that beyond our ego there is unconditioned consciousness that holds inherent answers to many of our most important questions, such as who we are, how we got here, and what our purpose is while we are here. In many ways this has been a lonely trek. I'm interested in knowing others who are, what is the word, zany enough to have traveled their own version is this path.
