converging interests and involvement in spirituality, religion (Mormonism), contemplative practices, healing, consuming and producing film and music, storytelling, esoteric thought, social justice. I didn't see depth psychology out - it found me and persisted until I couldn't avoid it any more. I need to talk to depth psychology people because friends, family, and fellow doctoral students in social work have a hard time finding why i think jungian thought is so critical to understanding all things!

Welcome Jordan,
Sorry for the late welcome. As you have seen by now, there are a number of folks who share some of the frustration of others not seeing how Jungian thought can help transformation of individuals and societies.. Seems today the world of psychology is only concerned with adaptation rather than transformation. Feel free to "jump in" to any of those discussions as well as any other areas that have drawn your interest. There are many ways to be involved from book studies to forums, to groups and all populated with interesting people with varying backgrounds, experiences, and training. Great to have you with us.
