Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?

I have been actively working with my dreams for over 15 years and have transformed many personal physical health challenges as well as grown exponentially. My professional background is movement, yoga and bodywork. I have been working with clients in the last two years merging movement and dreams. I am interested in all facets of dreams ... dreams as they related to relationships, art, movement etc. And Carl Jung is hero and was ahead of his time. In being a part of this community I look forward to sharing and learning and being inspired and feeling supported.

  • Greetings Julia and welcome to the online depth psychology community.  Please enjoy and indulge yourself! Just returned home from a residential stint that included dream dance with Jeanne Schul at Pacifica. Wonderful, illuminating, helpful work. Dreamwork or for that matter most any other inner work seems to me, most effective when we move or do something with it. The more physical the better. Hope you will share your experience and practice when and where the energy, moves you.

As you may know, we currently have nearly 2400 members from all over the world. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.

On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. To begin with, please take a moment to introduce yourself in the forum. You can also post a topic for discussion there, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like, or comment on your current work or ask a question.

In case you need detailed help getting started and navigating the site, you can use the following link---- http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site----and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all!

I look forward to seeing you around the community.
