Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
The question that begun my exploration into the field of psychology (that was around 10 years ago now) was "what is the role of consciousness in health?" and that was both for personal and collective health. I was studying architecture at USC at the time and .. to make a long story very short I ended up dropping out and moving to Boulder, Colorado where I would eventually graduate in 2012 and after many years of research and study I could, for the first time, actually articulate my question and many of the peak experiences that begun my seeking in the first place. It is a great deal easier to move forward with the clarity that has developed in the last 10 years and I am now moving into the spring of my career. I will be looking to establish myself as a speaker starting this summer and continuing for the next eighteen months. It has been beyond my wildest dreams the level of fulfillment that I get just purely from connecting with others and sharing my personal stories of transformation and healing. Growing up like I did in an environment ripe with transformation, like Naropa, has given me a unique perspective about the diversity of challenges that life throws at us .. and the real process work that comes from deeply reflecting on what the changes demand of us in our lives and what resources we need to empower ourselves to meet those demands. Yes, i attempt to stay current in Energy Medicine and Psychology and I am Constantly looking for more online authority sites to frequent for more information.

Greetings Kent and welcome to the online depth psychology community. It's great you've found us! (And, welcome from one Naropa grad to another. I am moving back to Boulder/Lafayette in a few weeks.)
As you may know, we currently have over 3400 members from all over the world. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
We recommend that to get started, you personalize your profile photo by going to your "My page" and rolling your cursor over the default C.G. Jung image. This gives you the option to switch it to a person picture. As well, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to another member's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.
