Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I am currently undertaking a professional doctorate in Fine Art. My creative and academic work is grounded in Depth Psychology, particularly the ideas of Carl Jung. I am drawn to this field because it provides a profound language and framework for understanding the unconscious, symbolic imagery, and processes of transformation—both personal and collective. Much of my practice explores trauma and dissociation through the lens of individuation, using creative expression as a means of integrating unconscious material.
What draws me to Depth Psychology is its capacity to bridge inner experience with outer reality, and to acknowledge the complexity and mystery of the psyche. I find that symbolic thinking, archetypes, and myth offer powerful ways to navigate psychological suffering and foster healing.
I’m looking to connect with others who are similarly engaged in these inquiries—to share ideas, reflections, and research, and to feel part of a community that values psychological depth, creativity, and transformation. I hope this space will support and enrich my journey personally and in my research.
