Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?

PTSD sufferer interested in entering the Social Work/Therapy field. I would like to expand my knowledge of Psychoanalysis to explore my options as a therapist and to lay a solid groundwork for my future education.

    Hi Laura. Greetings, and glad you've found the online depth community. There is really no better way to learn than by engaging with others. I hope you will bring your questions and wonderings here in the Forum--no doubt others will be willing to join you in what could be a powerful discussion leading to insight for all of us.

    Other ways you can engage are by sharing a link, article, or web site that has been meaningful to you in your work--or to comment on someone else's post in order to get into a discussion.     Welcome Laura,

    I remember a book by a Jungian about PTSD. I'll need to look through my bookshelves because I believe I still have the book. Where are you in the process of entering the social work/therapist field(s)? I believe you will find much of interest in the Alliance and many members are therapists and you might post a blog about PTSD to find them...just a thought. Again, welcome.
