It came to my attention today as a community that was aware of James Hillman's death; and as I have a great interest in Jungian work esp. I thought I would appreciate being a part of this community.

H Margo. So glad you've found the online depth community. As you can see, the Alliance is a dynamic and growing group of people who understand the power of connecting around critical topics and the fact that we are a global community allows us to meet and learn from others in a multitude of ways.
Knowing I am in a place where virtually every person here knows and appreciates James Hillman for who he was and what he has contributed to the field is a very powerful and healing feeling. And, while many of us grieve his loss in our own way and often silently, I feel wrapped in the presence of the community as a whole. I hope you can sense that too.
Meanwhile, I think you'll find much to engage with as you begin to browse the vast content and start interacting with others. I hope you'll find ways to comment and share what feels right to you here.

I believe the announcement of Hillman's death has created a greater searching among we depth/archetypal folks to reach out to each other and form a more visible presence. The Alliance is dedicated to this goal. There are several areas where shamanism is being discussed as well as constellation therapy (both in reference to the stars and in reference to family constellation work). Again, welcome.
