"Hi Brent,
Good to meet you. My interest in depth psychology is pragmatic. I would, you know, kinda like to better the world, or at least as much of it as enters my sphere of influence. It would be interesting to compare notes.

"In terms of art that I might study psychologically that would be literature. I have other stuff on my plate right now, but I'd love to go into depth with my own interpretation of Raskolnikov's dream horse. As for the the art that I make, I'm almost…"

What is your chosen art expression?

  • Hey Mark! Yes, I'm the Carla from Gateway HS and all of those endless Denny's talks with the endless pots of coffee. Hard to know where to start after--OMG--29 years!

I'm working on my PhD in Depth Psychology, emphasis in Jungian and Archetypal studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute. In fact, I fly out to California this Wednesday. I was in the Mythology program there for a year but stopped that mostly for financial reasons. When I was ready to begin again, the Jungian program fit me better.

To pay the bills, I've been in the IT field for 17 years (I have a Masters in CIS from DU.) I'm an Oracle Database Administrator with Bayer Healthcare. Also, I start as an adjunct faculty at the Community College of Aurora tomorrow night. So, busy, busy.

Let's see, more personal-wise; I married Brian (no doubt you remember him) and we had 2 great kids. Mary, now 21 and Matthew, 19. Brian and I divorced around 2000 (we are still good friends.) I'm now remarried. Ken and I live in Piney Creek, in Centennial. Besides Mary and Matt, (Mary going to college and a ballroom dance instructor. Matt, still trying to figure out what he's doing) we have a small zoo of 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 Macaw, 2 parakeets, 1 13 foot python, fish and hermit crabs. So that about covers it. I'll stop now before this becomes a Christmas card letter.

How about yourself? I'd love to hear how your 29 years have gone and what you're up to now. You can write me here if you're so inclined:
