A wounded soul can account for what we humans call "misery" and the further realization "misery" is a part of the journey/story and that something important comes from it. Jung's writings make sense to me from the standpoint that there is much to be discovered in our unconscious being; it is many times an untapped resource.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
Jung Society of Washington and Oregon

Welcome Michelle,
Wounding is such a part of the process but not if it remains unconscious and repetitive in one's life. (I speak here from running into the same wall a number of times before "getting it.") There is the beginning of a conversation about the value of conscious suffering in one of the blogs or forums I'll have to check. I look forward to your comments and suggestions as to how to make the site even more informative.
