Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I have been deeply helped by Jungian thought for about twenty years, ever since I read Women Who Run with the Wolves. I actively study Jungian authors, interpret my dreams, and am considering further formal study in the field. This way of understanding the self and the world speaks more deeply to me than any other I know. It also deepens and enriches my relationships and my Christian faith. Since I live in a very rural area, finding like-minded people is next to impossible. Thank God for this relational tool online. I hope to be encouraged to continue learning and to gain friendships and the stimulating conversation that I crave.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
Not yet. I'm finishing my degree and working full time, so time has been limited for a while. I'm just getting going in my second half of life, having raised four beautiful young people alone. I'm open to finding clearer direction.

Greetings Rhonda and welcome to the online depth psychology community. It's great you've found us and I apologize for such a belated welcome.
As you may know, we currently have over 3000 members from all over the world. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
We recommend that to get started, you personalize your profile photo by going to your "My page" and rolling your cursor over the default C.G. Jung image. That will give you the option to switch it to a person picture. As well, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to another member's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.
