I agree with you about the word "soul". For me, I've been referring to my own path as being in "Search Of Unconscious Longing" - something is that at the very core of soul for me.
Meanwhile, thanks so much for pointing to the limitations on selecting a degree during the registration process. One reason I love depth psych is that it tends to ask more questions than settle on set answers. In this case, I am suddenly more aware of how culture-centric that particular set of offerings is. I can't change the whole thing and make it open ended now without scrambling the answers of every person who has already answered (limitation of technology - sigh), but I have at least added a couple of options to broaden it a bit: Jungian, Other type of Psychology, Other degree not listed here
Its still not ideal. Hopefully if others have that same issue, maybe they will expound in the "What drew you...?" questions--and please feel free to let me know any other impressions as you begin to explore the community!
Welcome Robert,
Glad you have joined us at the Alliance. Your training and experience will add much to our discussions in the many forums, blogs, and groups. Since you are in the DC area, you may also want to join Jung in the South as we are continuing to create a group for conversation and support of Jungian/archetypal work in the South.
