I own and run an independent bookstore in Long Beach, CA. I'm considering studying Depth Psychology as a Midlife career shift.

    Hi Sean,

    Dorene mentioned you to me last night. I see today that your shop is in So Cal. Mine was in Nor Cal 1997-2009. Hard work, but such a blessing and pleasure, dream and delight to live in the community that grows up around a bookstore. Gatsby Books looks wonderful and like it has a thriving author series. Congrats! Reach out if you want to talk or maybe see you at the next Deep Meet and Greet.

    Hi Sean, welcome to the Alliance--we are an all-volunteer-led community that has grown to over 4,000 members worldwide! As you think about how to weave depth psychology into your life, you might consider emailing (on the site) Mark Sipowicz, one of our board members who also changed from having a bookstore to being a depth wilderness guide in Colorado. He's a great guy. In fact, if you're available, please consider joining our next monthly Deep Meet & Greet on March 1st at 5:00pm Pacific time. Mark hosts those meetings with another board member, Donna May. It's a low-risk way to engage with like-minded others.
