I have been a parish pastor in ELCA Lutheran Congregations for 28 Years. My main focus in my continuing education workshops have been the intersection of spirituality and depth psychology. Over the years I have attended: Guild For Psychological Studies, SanFrancisco, CA (3 different workshops lasting from 2 weeks to 3 weeks); Intensive Journal Workshop (Ira Progoff - 4 week long workshops held in Menlo Park, CA; Denver, Co.; St.Paul, MN; & Boston, MA); A weeklong workshop at the Assisi Institute in Brattleboro, VT. (led by Michael Conforti & Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi); a week-long workshop at Berkeley, CA (led by Jungian analyst - Rev. John Sanford) called, "Journey of the Soul".
Are you a licensed or clinical therapist?
No.
Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I am convinced that that increased consciousness of the soul is needed for our personal and collective growth. It is that growth which draws me in many different forms. In a great sense using Ira Progoff's insights your online Depth Psychology Alliance have "chosen me". I try to follow the direction into which I have been drawn.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
I am on several different facebook "Jungian interest" groups including the Jungian Red Book one which I just recently joined.
If you have a Twitter, Facebook, Blog, or LinkedIn account and would like to have people "follow" you, list it here
My facebook page is simply: "Tom Hallowell", but I generally only post Jungian/Spirituality items on the "Jungian" fb pages that I am associated with.

Greetings Thomas and welcome to the online depth psychology community! It's great to have a Kansas here! I grew up south of Topeka and am quite familiar with the McPherson area. And, you did a workshop with Rabbi Zalman! I completed my M.Div in Boulder and had the great pleasure of studying with Reb Zalman on several occasions.
As you may know, we currently have over 2500 members from all over the world. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
