  • In my younger years listened to lots of music that resonated deeply within me.  When I saw this poster, The Righteous Brother's song/lyrics came back to me.  I remain an old romantic at heart with faith + love intact irregardless of what others may think or believe, my present truth reality and reflections are simply complex...here's the lyrics [heart + soul food] to a few of the love songs listened to, touches me deeply:

When you walk through a storm

    Hold your head up high

And don't be afraid of the dark

At the end of the storm

    Is a golden sky

And the sweet silver song of a lark

    Walk on through the wind

    Walk on through the rain

Though your dreams be tossed and blown

    Walk on, walk on

    With hope in your heart

    And you'll never walk alone

    You'll never walk alone

    Oh my love my darling

    I've hungered for your touch

    A long lonely time

And time goes by so slowly

And time can do so much

    Are you still mine

    I need your love

    I need your love

God speed your love to me

Lonely rivers flow to the sea to the sea

To the open arms of the sea

Lonely rivers sigh wait for me wait for me

I'll be coming home wait for me

    Oh my love my darling

I've hungered, hungered for your touch

    A long lonely time

And time goes by so slowly

And time can do so much

    Are you still mine

    I need your love

    I need your love

God speed your love to me
