The Joseph Campbell Mythological RoundTable of Ojai presents, Goddesses: Mysteries of the Feminine Divine with Safron Rossi. Safron is Curator of Collections at Opus Archives & Research Center and is Associate Core Faculty at Pacifica Graduate Institute in the Depth Psychology Jungian and Archetypal Studies MA/PhD program where she teaches courses on mythology and depth psychology.
At Opus, Safron works closely with Joseph Campbell's archives, and in 2013 she edited the first Joseph Campbell publication to focus on the goddess, Goddesses: Mysteries of the Feminine Divine. In addition to introducing his study of the figures, functions, symbols, and themes of the feminine divine from Neolithic Old Europe to the Renaissance--when we meet under the Teaching Tree--Safron will refresh, renew, and expand upon Campbell's work with her updated research into myth, depth psychology, astrology, goddess traditions, and feminist studies.
