She has kindly allowed me to be the co-administrator. I do not know about the other cohort in depth. Now that the depth program has been split into specialities, we are the last class to be "generalists." I live in Kentucky.
I agree about more communication between groups. There are a number of times that I have wanted the ready knowledge of myth to highlight and enlighten some concept from depth about which I am writing. Lets talk further at some time about this possible collaboration.
I'm still in the PhD depth program hopefully starting my PhD work sometime this summer.
My interest was sparked by numinous experiences (primarily dreams, visions, and meditations) that I consciously suppressed as my generation had trouble accepting such unless they were drug induced. (Imagine hippies with "magic mushrooms" and you won't be far off.) The fact that I experienced them without use of chemicals made my friends suspicious and in an attempt to remain friends, I kept silent.
My writing has normally been of the experience amplified type where a "chance" happening inspires a reflection on life. I'm in a writers group and that has help immensely. I have written and produced plays at the local level and that is still an interest also. Actually, truth be told, I just love words.
My fifth grade teacher caused me to be bitten by the myth bug in that that was all we used to learn to further our reading and writing skills.
Speaking of waking to higher realities, I just remembered that there are references to such in Eastern thought and medieval Christianity.
Welcome Will,
Another Pacifica-ite!!! I see your interest in story and wonder how that has played out in your profession and/or life. Hope you will find the Alliance a place to explore and share your interests with others.

BTW, that's one reason there's no "box check" on the profile question about being a therapist--there are so many different programs and requirements around the globe that I left it open-ended so people can explain their status if they want to.
Meanwhile, I hope you'll jump in here and engage right away by commenting, joining discussions, checking out the groups, and posting some of your own work if you're willing. I'll send you some additional info on navigating the site under separate cover, and meanwhile, enjoy!
