Three Introductory Projective Collage Sessions for Women

7-9 pm Mondays, Oct, 21, Nov. 4 & Nov. 11

Come to as many or as few as you like.  $10/session

If you’re looking for an opportunity to access, explore and express the energy, imagery and messages of your inner landscape, then Projective Collage is for you! Give your thinking brain a break, and come join us at one or more of the upcoming, introductory sessions of this intuitive, music-assisted process. You’ll begin to tune in to your deepest wisdom while resonating with printed images that subtly yet powerfully invite engagement. Then, you’ll arrange and paste them into a collage that will ‘speak’ to you in meaningful, symbolic and often surprising ways.

The process provides support and rich sustenance for women interested in personal and spiritual development.  And it’s fun!  If there is sufficient interest, we will start an ongoing group, with opportunity for drop-in participation, in the near future. In these three introductory sessions, there will be no more than eight participants.

Important Note:  No artistic or musical talent is necessary. There is no wrong way to make a collage. You need only to be able to listen, respond to magazine images, tear paper and use scissors and a glue stick!

To register: If you’d like to register for one or more sessions, please e-mail your full name & the dates you plan to attend to lbeaven4@gmail.com. The venue in Fairfax, directions and agenda then will be sent to you.

Cost: The special introductory fee of $10 is payable at the door in cash or by check (made out to Lindsey Beaven). The acceptance and wait-list will be based on the order in which commitments to attend are received. So don’t delay!

The group’s facilitator is Lindsey Beaven. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 46826) who offers soul-centered, imagery- and arts-based therapies in San Rafael and at Marin General Hospital. She is a PhD Candidate in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute and holds an MA in Counseling Psychology (expressive arts emphasis) from the California Institute for Integral Studies; a BD from London University; a certificate in Integrative Medicine & Spirituality; and is a Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery.
