Hey folks!
I'm Jamie Star from Granite Falls, Washington. Greetings from the damp woods! I work in mental health counseling with offenders from the prison by day, by night, I am a Wiccan High Priestess and study archetypal psychology with the Assisi institute. My particular pleasure is working with the Greek Gods to help others. This program is timely because I am sick of putting my clients through cognitive behavioral therapy groups and want something that can reach them on a visceral level that they can understand without much education. I'm here to be challenged intellectually and moved emotionally so don't pull any punches! ;) I'm looking forward to getting to know folks through the class!

It is a breath of fresh air to hear that you are letting some of that cognitive behavioral therapy take a back seat to work that is more archetypal, mythical and visceral. Brava to you! Your clients are blessed to have your wisdom shining along side of them. Welcome ~

Welcome, Jamie! I recall my own fatigue with the usual shrinkage applied to offender groups. Myth makes things so much richer.

Wonderful! I am a Sister of Avalon, from the Priesstess of Avalon`s Orchard. And I also work in my groups of women and men, with Goddess archetypes, story telling, myths, poetry, bodysoul work (Marion Woodman Foundation) and dream interpretation. The planet Netpune, for me a kind of "the great myth maker ancestor" is in the constelation of Piscis, the colletcive unconscious, primordial waters of universal unity and will remain there for many years. I am certain that the work of Jung, Campbel, Marioon Wodman and many many others that has the capacity to help us navegate those personal and transpersonal realms with compasses like the archetyps myths, dream interpretation, with poetry and story telling, will be higly developed, researched and in demang in this times.
