  • From Cajun country to seminary, neuropsychology to Jungian psychology...talk about holding the tension of the (perceived on my part) opposites. Would love to hear how you have integrated what you have learned with what you have experienced. I have gone from a quantitative, reasearch based psychology to social work to seminary to depth psychology. I'm not sure my eariest professional colleagues would recognize me today. :)  For me, the advent of a Jungian analyst and continued readings that spoke to my soul rather than being brain candy for my head (although my current readings in Jungian/archetypal areas are "sweet.") turned my direction. Working as a therapist with children then sealed the deal.

Glad you have joined us especially with your wide range of learning and experience.

  • Welcome Francois,

Glad you have joined us and hope you will find many areas within the blogs, forums, and groups to your liking. I look forward to your posts. What was the area of study for your PhD?

  • Hi Francois: Welcome to the online Depth Psychology community. I think you will find this to be a remarkable place where so many likeminded others (who many never manage to have met in the physical world) can come together to share their work and discuss their passions. There are many Jungian analysts on the site--probably some that you already know as well as those you dont'I hope you will jump in and engage by commenting or sharing your own work.
If you need help navigating the site in any way, please don't hesitate to ask. Enjoy!
