Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I want to deepen my understanding of Depth Psychology and have a community to share ideas with. I wrote my thesis on shamanism and am very interested in Jungian Psychology and learning more about archetypes. I am in the process of deepening my own spiritual practices which include Buddhist meditation and Celtic Shamanism. I am Jewish by birth, Celtic by heart, Buddhist by mind.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
Not really, but I often read through websites that involve Druidic practices, Celtic Shamanism, Jungian Psychology and dreamwork.

Greetings, Joey, and (a somewhat belated) welcome to the online depth psychology community. It's great to have you here! I glad to see you jumped right in to one of the "depth discussions." I live in Marin as well and can relate to your love for the redwoods.
As you may know, we currently have nearly 2600 members from all over the world. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
