  • Also work as a therapist and a spiritual director. I have found it curious that there are folks who will agree to all the characteristics of the unconscious in the way it influences their lives but will have difficulty with accepting the concept of an unconscious. If I stay away from the terminology, I am freer to facilitate the inner work being done by the client/directee (ex. expressive therapy techinques).

    You mention incorporating the unconscious in your work....so I have to ask, what is your work? My experience has been that the unconscious gets into my work whether I want it there or not!!  :)  Better to consciously be aware or beware. Hope you find much within the Alliance to peak your interest.
