  • What an exciting dilemma! In my language, something like, spirit infused with soul or soul infused with spirit. Feel free to ask me questions by email (msipow@gmail.com) or call (650-228-8286). Obviously I don not have your answer or the answer, but happy to hear the question or hear the images you are working with and share my associations, etc.

    Curious, with heart,

  • Greetings Renee and a very warm welcome to the online depth psychology community. It's great you've found us! I see you are in beautiful Big Sky Country. I lived in Florence MT and Bonner back in the late 90s. I miss it and wonder sometimes what it would be like to return. How are things there for you? Please let me know if you want to discuss Pacifica at all. It was one of the 2-3 best educational experiences of my life. Well, on to the introductions...

As you may know, we now have nearly 4,000 members from all over the world. I hope that as you have explored the community you have noticed what a dynamic group of like-minded people are here, all who are deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.

As you explore our community, I hope you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who I believe are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. We recommend that to get started, you personalize your profile photo by going to your "My page" and rolling your cursor over the default C.G. Jung image. This gives you the option to switch it to a personal picture. As well, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to another member's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.

Here are a few quick links to front page items that may be of interest to you. The Fall 2014 Depth Insights e-zine is out containing articles, poetry, cartoons and artwork and you can access all of the past issues, too. The Multimedia Library contains talks, videos and articles that may be of interest to you.  And, the Depth Psychology Alliance Events page contains calls for papers, upcoming conferences, and workshops.

You can also weigh in on the weekly depth discussions by clicking the image and quote at the top of the home page. And here's a link to help you navigate the site for your convenience.

Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you around the community.

    Warm Regards,
