Normally chants and meditation get me out of bed (most of the time) :).
I recently had a chat/discussion/argument with a good friend about spirituality and the church. I stated that if you asked a number of pastors where they experienced their first numinous experience, it would most likely not be in church but out in nature. This certainly has been my experience and the experience of most of those with whom I share. The balance of female and male has been long overdue and Nature is the one "woman" that even the most macho of men I know offer some respect. Now to the challenge of helping them see that and "take it home."
Magic/dance/ creative-dynamic movement - shamanic in its most joyful!!!
Oh, yes, the other thing that gets me out of bed in the morning is my PhD work. Now whether that is out of bed because I have just been nudged by psyche or kicked out of bed by psyche varies from morning to morning. :)
Dance on, Ro.

Welcome Ro,
I enjoy the way your mystic connection with Gaia has a very "down to earth" foundation. For me, unless spirit and earth unite, no soul is possible. I enjoyed your website as well and always need to be reminded of the unconscious way I contribute to the toxic physical and spiritual environment. I believe you will find many kindred spirits among the ecopsychology group and hope you will post your thoughts with us soon.
