Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I am drawn to like-minded people who understand the dynamics of the human psyche, especially those who understand the works of Carl Jung. I have a great passion for depth psychology and ecopsychology and the healing affects of nature, etc. For many years I lead Rites of Passage groups into the wilderness. I also had the honor of living amongst a small NA tribe for many years where I learned very traditional ways. I feel isolated and need a supportive community. The past five years have been tough. I would like to start a coaching practice that involves Depth Psych within the wilderness context. I need support and colleagues to chat with.

Yes. I get emails/newsletters from Ashville Jung Center, Personality Type In Depth, and other web site for research.

We currently have over 3800 members from all over the world! As you explore our community, I hope you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who I believe are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. The Depth Psychology Alliance is proud that our members come from many walks of life--artists, clinicians, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc.--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience to be shared in our community.
We recommend that to get started, you personalize your profile photo by going to your "My page" and rolling your cursor over the default C.G. Jung image. This gives you the option to switch it to a personal picture. As well, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to another member's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.

The Spring 2015 Depth Insights E-zine has a call out for papers, art, and poetry with a April 1, 2015 deadline for submissions.
