Veronica Blumentals replied to Cassandra Williams's discussion The struggle for balance....
"This is a big dream. One that will lead to great adventures and changes, and one you probably continue to think about on and off. Yet you can probably recall the feelings and images even now a year after the dream. Like the little mouse that is in…"

Veronica Blumentals replied to Jerry Kroth's discussion New post: a Depth Alliance prophetic dream
"This is what dreams do, surprise and challenge our understanding. I didn't see any commentary about why you dreamt this in connection with joining here. Was your joining here the result of a longer reflection on dreamwork or depth psychology? or was…"

Great to hear from you. We are warming up and getting ready for Dreamverse. The first phase is to build the community and an initial structure to harvest dreams. We created a first draft to use while the site is under construction…"

  • Hi Veronica. Welcome to the Alliance. I'm so glad you've found us. Your Dreamverse project sounds wonderful and I look forward to watching it shape up. I hope you'll find avid participants from the community here and that you'll provide us with regular updates in the Forum.

Meanwhile, I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.

On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.

Also, if you have time, you may want to consider joining the online book club—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. The Book Club is all done via writing in an open forum, so you can read all the comments that have gone on so far. In June we are featuring an anthology with an ecopsychological bent: "ReBearths: Conversations with a World Ensouled" with Dr. Craig Chalquist.

In case you need detailed help getting started and navigating the site, you can use the following link-- http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site--and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community. ~Bonnie Bright, Founder

  • Sounds very interesting. I practice both Active Imagination and personal dream analysis. How do you see this Dreamverse project working?

  • Hi Veronica,

I am also new and you are my first "friend".  What shall we talk about?
