"Hi Ed-
By "candidate" at the Jung Institute, this means I am currently in the program.  I am in my 4th year, and will be certified at the end of the program in a few more years.  It is a long process with both a personal and professional focus.…"

  • Hi Felicia. Greetings, and glad you've found the online depth community. I would like to add my somewhat belated welcome to Ed's. As you have seen, the Alliance is a dynamic and growing group of people who understand the power of connecting around critical topics and the fact that we are a global community allows us to meet and learn from others in a multitude of ways. I think it will be a perfect complement to your training at the Institute.

I hope you'll find much to engage with as you browse the vast content and interact with others I encourage you to jump in right away and get your feet wet by simply sharing a link or article that has meaning for you or perhaps by commenting on others' posts, asking a question, or sharing some of your own thoughts or work.

Meanwhile, in case you need detailed help on personalizing your profile picture or getting started and navigating the site, please use the following link-- http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site --and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community~Bonnie Bright, Founder

  • Thanks Felicia,

I would be interested in what texts and experiences have been the focus of the SF Jung Institute. I'm starting to make an informal catalog of the training taking place at the different Institutes in the United States. Hope to hear from you and hope the Alliance still holds your interest.

  • Welcome felicia,

Glad you have found and joined the Alliance. As a candidate in the SF Jung Institute, what exactly does that mean? Candidate to be accepted, or in the program awaiting certification? I am also an MFT and would enjoy hearing how you might use depth psychology in your practice. Look through the many blogs, forums, and groups to find your interests and interesting people. Again, glad to have you join us.

    Ed
