Thank you Linda. I never thought of this before: when you imply the piece could have an alternate label/title, it would be congruent with my intention to merely provide a sensitive viewer with a possibility for their own unique experiential moment that a piece could attach to whatever title a viewer is "feeling" in the moment of their experience. My artist's statement http://www.squareone-learning.com/my-naive-art/index.php/stephen-ca... digs a little bit into the psychological assumptions I deploy. Also on that page is a picture of the real world scale I'm aiming for.
You have captured what would be a very good case for a viewer, in short, 'meditating and finding.' Bless you.
Hi Stephen - quite lovely...from roots, butterflies, bees to trees and beyond, not sure I would label this"pagan tree." Thanks for sharing - one could meditate on this image and find all kinds of depth for soul. Highly metamorphic. Peace + Love Linda
