  Okay, here we go. One in NC, one in FL, one in TN, one in KY, one in VA and two in GA. Just looking at the map tells be northern GA or eastern TN is central but I think both Gabriel and Jeanne have mentioned having places that were intended to be set up for retreats. So... G & J, do you both have space for 7+ wayfaring strangers?? And if so, what does 2011 look like for you both??

  I think we need a "Jung in the South" union . . . or is it reunion . . . no, since most of us have never met!!! At any rate a coming together of the resident southern Jungians . . . Then Gabriela and I can determine how we recognize each other and the rest of us can swap stories! I love any excuse for a party . . . especially now that I am not handcuffed to my computer every spare second of every day!

  Oops, I meant "sorry for" rather than "sorry to." Goes to show my "sorry," overwhelmed state, given that I'm actually teaching English grammar to new immigrants at the moment! :D

  Sorry to the long absence from the site! I've been a bit overwhelmed with a new teaching assignment, not so much over-extended as stretching along a big learning curve. Like any new teaching position, the time involved in prep and planning meets or exceeds my time in the classroom. I am truly looking forward to the holidays, just to get a few days' rest! Jeanne, you look so familiar to me... do I know you from a former life? I, too, am a recent graduate from Pacifica's depth program.

  Just want to share my delight at Jeanne Shul's dissertation presentation. Her work with dreams and dance was quite moving in its inception, just wish I could see the dance. Jeanne, I'm going to call a dance instructor and dear friend in Raleigh, North Carolina about your piece. She teaches at a large all-girl's private school and I believe both your message and style of presentation would be both moving and enlightening for young women in their process of individuation. Kudos.

  World Religions taught from a mythological/depth perspective would be far better than the Noss book I used when I taught such a course many years ago. What text do you use? Smith?? Original texts??
  As we get closer to a meeting, there is more I can share that will allow you to travel to the meeting if the date is good. What was your thesis topic/title?

  Hello Ed and fellow group members,
  
  This is stimulating conversation, though I'm pressed for time, teaching a World Religions class in the morning. I can tell you that I relate to your burden for uniting Religion and Psych, and can share more in this regard, later in the week. I will say that the thought of getting together with such brilliant minds as yourselves (Pacificans) in the South, now that I have graduated is intriguing. The time there was just too short in that sense. My home is not available, since I am living with extended family, until the university can afford to hire me full-time, amidst budget restraints. Til then, I am on a tight budget, but as soon as that changes, I would be happy to host in the future. It would probably be a couple years. Meanwhile, I will contribute in other ways as time permits. Teaching all day tomorrow, but can check in on Tuesday. Kind Regards until then.
