I've been involved with depth psychology for most of my life, and have written books. and have traveled, studied, and taught Jung and astrology in Zurich, England, California and New England. I don't know what I expect from this community--no expectations--but I so very much enjoy any and all connections with kindred spirits.

Hi Elizabeth. Welcome to the Alliance. It's lovely to have you here. I have only a beginner's knowledge of astrology, but find it fascinating and frequently tweet from your blog.
Hopefully, once you have a chance to explore the Alliance a bit you'll find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all deeply drawn to the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinicians (and a growing number of astrologers as Ed noted) here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
On that note, I hope you're finding opportunities to engage as you browse the site and interact with others. You may want to consider joining the online book club if you haven’t already—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. Even if you don't have the book for this month, you can read all the comments that have gone on so far and get a feel for the story--or Feb. 1 will bring a wonderful new book from Jungian Analyst Erel Shalit (that is also focused on archetypes) as well as a special online study group on Astrology with Kathleen Burt, of course, which is what I suspect drew you here.
