Welcome Joe Bill,
Glad you joined the Alliance and my apologies about the late welcome. I'm starting a depth psychology group in Louisville in the next month so if you are near Louisville, it would be great to have you join us for sharing your experiences and discussions. The Alliance has much to offer in the many blogs, forums, and groups. Hope to "hear" from you soon.

Hi Joe Bill. Welcome to the Alliance. Glad you've found us--and I have to say I like your straight shooting bring-it-out-of-the-shadow blog. Keep up the good work.
Meanwhile, nce you have a chance to explore the online community a bit, I think you'll find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. Some simple ideas to get your feet wet are to introduce yourself in the forum; asking a question, or responding to someone else's post; or sharing a link to an article or web site you like.
You may want to consider joining the online book club if you haven’t already (so many have joined the past day or two I haven't managed to keep track!)—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. Even if you don't have the book for this month, you can order it from Assisi Institute now and have it within a couple of days.
The Book Club is all done via writing in an open forum, so you can read all the comments that have gone on so far (including past authors in January and February!) and get a feel for what's happening. As you may know, in March, we are featuring a wonderful new book from Jungian Analyst Dr. Michael Conforti, a specialist in archetypes and new sciences, "Field, Form, And Fate: Patterns in Mind, Nature, and Psyche."
In case you need detailed help getting started and navigating the site, you can use the following link--and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community~Bonnie Bright, Founder
