  • Hi Sandy. Greetings, and glad you've found the online depth community. I would like to add my rather belated welcome to Ed's. As you have seen, the Alliance is a dynamic and growing group of people who understand the power of connecting around critical topics and the fact that we are a global community allows us to meet and learn from others in a multitude of ways.

I hope you'll find much to engage with as you browse the vast content and interact with others and it would be awesome if you would post some of your blog content in the Blogs section here as well if you're so inclined.

It looks like you're managing fine, but in case you need detailed help on getting started and navigating the site, please use the following link-- http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site --and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community~Bonnie Bright, Founder

  • Got it this time. I'm going to set aside time tonight with a cup of coffee or glass of wine and enjoy reading it.

I'm all over the place when it comes to writing. I've had several plays produced on the local level, poems in local publications, short stories and three books in process, and I enjoy essay writing - get in, make the point, get out. You might have noticed the word "local" meaning that all my writing has been for the enjoyment of local folks. Never thought about going "larger" until those who like my stuff reached a critical mass of combined praise, push, and finger wagging. Love to journal every morning - great beginning to  more creative day. Finally, I appreciate your optimism on my behalf when you wrote (italics my own), "Let me know where your work is appearing."  Where can I find your books? Amazon?

  • Sandy,

Thanks for the encouragement. I should have my first piece out by the end of the week. Sometimes its just a matter of showing up. I tried the wedsite you mentioned and got back a message stating it could not connect. Do I have the wrong address? I may use another serach engine and see if it will go through. Thanks again.

  • Honored. :)
  • Welcome Sandy,

Very glad that you have found and joined the Alliance. You may also want to post your book titles in the Authors group where you will find other published writers. I will visit your website again in that I've had professors and published friends who keep urging me to get my stuff "out there." I have some sense of the complex(es) working on me and a new analyst so here I go.....

I believe you will find much of interest within the Alliance and hope you will be able to drop a comment from time to time. I look forward to your posts.

    Ed

WHAT YOU CAN WIN BY LOSING

Hi, everyone! I'm Sandy Nathan. I led the Book Club back in January with my book Numenon. I was just having fun reading the posts and articles on this site and thought you might enjoy an article I recently posted in my blog for writers, Your Shelf Life.

Like many in our culture, I am obsessed with winning. I carried my obsession into my life as an author, entering book contests galore, and winning many of them. (I've got…
